Minutes of the Ordinary Meeting

Present: Councillors: Leo Kolassa, Sandra Baxter, Maria Bennett, Bob McCann and Michael Walsh

In Attendance: Mrs C Jenkins (Clerk) and 2 members of public

23.0 Apologies for Absence

There were apologies received from Cllr Irving for a covid related reason and Cllr Weild.

24.0 Members Declaration of Interest

There were no interests declared.

25.0 Public Forum

The meeting was adjourned for this item

There were no members of public wishing to address the Council

The meeting was reconvened

26.0 Minutes of the Previous Meeting

The minutes of the Ordinary meeting held on 7 September 2021 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

27.0 Matters of Report from Previous Meeting

The were no matters of report from the previous meeting.

28.0 Planning Applications

Cllrs noted the planning applications

29.0 To Discuss and Resolve the following:

29.1 To consider and approve funding of up to £150 for a graphic and digital image for a logo for the Parish Council.

It was resolved to approve funding of up to £150 for a graphic and digital image for a logo.

29.2 To consider and approve funding for the repair and refurbishment of the wooden Little Altcar signpost.

The meeting was informed that the Parish Council were still awaiting a quote for the work required. This item was therefore deferred until next meeting subject to receiving these costings.

30.0 Chairman’s Report

Liverpool Road piling has stopped until March due to migrating birds.

The bin on Bills Lane has been move to the bench.

Cllrs noted the Remembrance Services on Thursday 11th November and Sunday 14th November.

31.0 To Authorise Payments

It was resolved to approve the payments as listed:

  1. Clerks Services, Formby Parish Council – £250
  2. Audit – £25
  3. Christmas tree – £200

32.0 Date of Next Meeting

The next Ordinary meeting of Little Altcar Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 1 February 2022.
