14.0 Apologies for Absence
There were apologies received from Cllrs Appleton, Riley and Weild.
15.0 Members Declaration of Interest
There were no interests declared.
16.0 Public Forum
The meeting was adjourned for this item.

17.0 Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the Annual Meeting held on 18 May 2026 were noted and signed by the Chairman for the meeting.
18.0 Matters of Report from Previous Meeting
There were no matters of report.
19.0 Chairman’s Report
Cllr Kolassa informed Cllrs that the letter from Sefton Council regarding the Grouping Order is currently being delivered to members of the public. We have already received 1 enquiry for further information.
Cllr Kolassa asked for a volunteer from among the Parish Councillors to lay the wreath at the Remembrance Service in Holy Trinity.
20.0 Planning Applications
Cllrs discussed the outcome of the Employment Site Planning Application and it was noted that the application has not been approved by Sefton Council. Members noted that since the Local Plan Inspector allowed the site to be allocated there have been changes in the retail provision locally including Home Bargains which replaced a hardware store, the large Sainsbury’s at Kew and the Sainsbury’s Local in Formby.
21.0 To Discuss and Resolve the following:
21.1 To approve a contribution of £300 to Formby Parish Council for the Christmas Tree
It was resolved to approve a contribution of £300 to Formby Parish Council for the Christmas Tree.
21.2 To approve a contribution of £700 to Formby Parish Council for the Christmas Lights event
It was resolved to approve a contribution of £700 to Formby Parish Council for the Christmas Lights event.
21.3 To approve a contribution of £500 to Formby Parish Council for the Christmas Hampers
It was resolved to approve a contribution of £500 to Formby Parish Council for the Christmas Hampers
21.4 To approve the purchase of wreaths for Remembrance Sunday
It was resolved to approve the purchase of wreaths for Remembrance Sunday.
21.5 To discuss a resident request for an additional bench at Bills Lane Park
It was resolved to obtain a quote from Sefton Council and review the quote at a subsequent meeting.
22.0 To Authorise Payments
It was resolved to approve the payments as listed:
Formby Parish Council for Clerk Services monthly payments to September to November 2026 £399.00
Domain Renewal £12.00
Formby British Legion Remembrance Service Wreath £55.00
23.0 Date of Next Meeting
The next Ordinary meeting of Little Altcar Parish Council will be held on Monday 16 November 2026 at 6.30pm.
