All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, which will be held at Formby Library, Duke Street, Formby on Monday 18 May 2026, immediately following the Annual Parish Meeting at 6.00pm.

  1. To elect a Chairman for 2026-27, who will then sign the “Declaration of Acceptance of Office”.
  2. To elect a Vice Chairman for 2026-27, who will then sign the “Declaration of Acceptance of Office”.

To certify as exempt from a limited assurance review under section 9 of the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulation 2015: Little Altcar Parish council certify that during the year 2025-26 the higher of the Authorities gross income for the year or gross annual expenditure for the year did not exceed £25,000
    5. To note the dates set for the exercise of public rights: Wednesday 3 June to Tuesday 14 July 2026

  11. To Discuss and Resolve:
    1. To approve the quote for the renewal of the Insurance at £264
    2. To approve the payment of £1,600 per annum for the provision of Clerk and Administrative services in accordance with the contract between Formby Parish Council and Little Altcar Parish Council.
    3. To approve the annual sum of £365 for summer and winter planting, maintenance and watering of the planter.
    4. To approve a contribution to the First Lifeboat Station 250th celebration events planned for June 2026.
    5. To approve a contribution to the Chindit Memorial project in partnership with Formby Parish Council.
